christopherboffoliParticipantFurther to the recent comparisons between the West Seattle Blog and the New York Times, it seems the latter has taken the former’s lead with their own piece on this interesting West Seattle chef. Hmm… I wonder if the Times reporter will be equally as pilloried for failing to do a pure hit piece on Claycamp. ;-)
PS: I’ve had the Swinery’s house-made bresaola and highly recommend it, served with arugula and a drizzle of grassy olive oil.

christopherboffoliParticipantExactly Jan! I figured I’d take advantage, especially since I’m on the Swinery’s secret payroll and Claycamp was best man at my wedding. ;-)

miwsParticipant…..and I can just imagine, at the point of where Gabriel is to hand over the ring…..
Christopher: No! No! The Ring! Not the Bacon!
Gabriel: Sorry! Reached into the wrong pocket! ;-)
(Thanks for the article, Christopher!)

christopherboffoliParticipantMike: LOL! I’m not even married! :-) But it is pretty safe to say that delicious bacon would be welcome at any point at my wedding. And any woman that would accept a ring of bacon is a keeper.

miwsParticipantHeh, yeah, from what you’ve posted in the past, I didn’t think you were married, (unless you eloped on us), but was just playing along with the theme of your post.
And a hint, if you ever do decide to get married, be sure to do a pre-nup, if for no other reason than to make sure the bacon is equally divided, should a divorce unfortunately occur. ;-)

JoBParticipantsome of us read christopher’s article and decided not to try to the bacon again.
i have this little itsy bitsy problem with employers who don’t treat their employees with respect and honesty… especially start-ups where those employees tend to give their all to make the venture work.
i have to agree that his food is phenomenal… but i can get really good bacon at met market…
