cbrMemberI’m fairly new to the area and have a friend coming in a few weeks who is a vegetarian. What are your favorite veggie-friendly restaurants and meals in West Seattle? Thanks!

funkietooParticipantMany lovely veggie friendly choices in West Seattle:
Mission (Admiral District)
Angelina’s (Admiral District)
Cafe Revo (Avalon)
Budda Ruska
Kokoras Greek Grill (Morgan Junction)
Abbondanza Pizza (Morgan Junction–great pastas, pizza and calzone)
West 5 (Alaska Junction–best mac’n’cheese in the world)
Mark (in Burien)
West Seattle Thriftway Deli (Morgan Junction)
Circa (Admiral)
Maharaja Cuisine of India (Alaska Junction)
Elliott Bay Brewery (Alaska Junction)
Shadowland (Alaska Junction)
As a Vegetarian, I find tasty selections at all of restaurants. And so do my non-vegetarian friends.

angelescrestParticipantOur favs–not veggie, but, and one veggie family member:
La Rustica
Bohemian
Ephysis (sp!)
Luna Park
Fresh Bistro
I’d also suggest the “deli” selections at PCC for a picnic. The Turkish Eggplant (new, huh?) was fabulous.

BBGuestMemberVegetarian only is served at Cafe Flora real gourmet offerings(vegan offered)on Madison.] Real treat, good atmosphere, even limited parking in the back.
Bamboo Gardens on Roy. I think they are vegan and kosher. Wow, I took my parents there and didn’t tell them it was vegetarian (not fair, I know) and they had the sweet and sour pork (soy) and did not know they were eating a meat alternative. Yum.

KBearParticipantAlso Lee’s Asian in the Junction and Pailin Thai in Admiral! Both inexpensive and GOOD.

SueParticipantFresh Bistro has many vegetarian options on their brunch menu and a few vegetarian options otherwise. Happy hour also has a few vegetarian options (if you eat cheese).
