Thank you for putting patrol up on Admiral Way today. Though little happens to encourage people to stick to the speed limit of 30 MPH when leaving WS Bridge, regular enforcement of the limit may help.

Thanks to you from the neighbors that live just off Admiral that risk their lives as pedestrians crossing Admiral to get to a park or bus stop.

Thanks from those who have had their property damaged when speeders loose control and end up in the front yard. Thanks from those of us who exit the neighborhood only to be tailgated by some A-hole going 45+ in a rush, late to get cigarettes from 7-11.

It’s a neighborhood, not a highway. Relax.

I am glad there was patrol on Admiral. I have been getting more and more fed up daily when I cross the street at the intersection of California and Admiral, and nearly get run over! This seems to happen at least twice a week to me. Last Sat. morning a guy driving a Mercedes with a child in the front seat was making a right hand turn from CA onto Admiral, and actually flipped me off for attempting to cross the street, I had the walk signal! He would have run me over had I not stepped back. I wish people would just relax.

Black Mercedes station wagon by any chance? I’ve seen this guy run red lights at the same intersection – on his way to Lafayette to pick up a kid or two!

Actually no, it was a tan sedan. BUT, 2 weeks ago I was nearly ran over by a black mercedes (I think) station wagon with a kid. This guy at least did not flip me off, but did continue turning on the red after he saw me and an older woman getting ready to cross.
