LOL.. i just opened a thread by mistake that i thought was none of my business.. one of the the infamous LGBT meet-up threads.. and found a free for all good time about bowling…

There are real gems buried on this forum:)

Those who love to browse should open threads that they think will bore them since conversation here really is conversation… and you just never know where it will lead…. in spite of those who try very hard to keep us on track.

even serious stuff gets funny now and then…

and if it isn’t.. you can always close the window and move on to something more entertaining.. or even.. gasp.. enlightening.

As a semi-shut-in a good deal of the time… who is buffered by my dogs when i am out.. i truly appreciate the scope and variety of conversation here… even the silly stuff.

It’s a rare morning when i can’t find something or someone to chuckle over…

so.. a rave to those who browse and the unexpected turns conversation takes…

and thanks to those who start my morning with a smile.

I stumbled on the forums awhile back and love reading the conversations. It is fun and interesting to learn about new places and to read the varying threads.

There are moments I get exasperated and have to restrain myself from wading into long diatribes that I might regret, but it does provide great conversations with friends and co-workers who also read the WSB – and the Forum.

There are very fun and very interesting people in our ‘hood!

My family just returned from a wonderful Oregon vacation, and I loved keeping up on West Seattle happenings by checking the WSB on the hotel computer. I think I’m suffering from a bit of an addiction!

Perhaps the next meetup should be to start a 12 step program…WSB-anon :)

As long as we are starting a WS 12 step program, I think we should include Zippy Burgers and Tilt ice cream!! (I mean that I am addicted to them not to have them at the meeting, although. . .)

You are right. A 12-step WSB-anon program needs to be immediately established. Please, someone do the research and provide a link for that ;).

I just this moment finished a conversation with my next-door neighbor who just got back from a family vacation to Disneyland. She completely ignored my pleas to NOT bring the damn computer so she could withdraw from WSB cold turkey. She told me she checked the forum from Los Angeles, but apparently she held back and did not post. So, I ask. Is that progress or not?
