When I lived on 37th and Trenton, I used to refer to it as “walk to view”. lol

C&P Coffee is having a “pay for the person behind you” day – and apparently the chain has been unbroken! One more reason to dig the wesssiiiiiide.

Awesome, I’ll have to stop by!

We have a nice little view from our upstairs, too. It’s like a visual massage every night. Years of stress just dripping away…

Jen, I’ve never understood how that “pay for the person behind you” stuff works. Let’s say I go in to buy a $3.50 latte and somebody is behind me buying a bunch of things that come to $10. Do I pay $10 for my single latte then? Some set price that everyone pays? I’m confused. :)

I think they were capping the price at a latte. So you’re just paying for the coffee for the person behind you…not everything.

This happened to me once at the Starbucks drive-thru. I was so tickled that I paid for everyone in line at 8AM on a Monday with the hope that it made the start of the work week less painful. ;) I love random acts of kindness and West Seattle is full of them!

I need to chime in here. A HUGE rave for West Seattle. I have lived by the Junction for 2 1/2 years and love the walkability of the neighborhood, all the friendly people and the community feel. Now a life change means I will be moving from West Seattle. Fortunately it is because I met the man of my dreams and we are getting married in the fall. I will soon call the area just north of Wedgwood home. I lost in the decision- tiny 1 bedroom condo in WS vs bigger 2 bedroom house with huge yard and garden in North Seattle. I am sad to be moving from my great little community. I will still read the blog, I am addicted after all. It was my number one source and will continue to be for all WS news. Now, anyone looking to buy a relatively new, 1 bedroom condo?
