inactiveMemberAlki Grocery store has Gelato!!!!!!!!!. Fabu for summer evening strolls.
So, now, if I can just find nonfat, soft-swirl yogurt on the peninsula. Will I really have to go to Costco’s hot dog stand on Fourth for a non-fat cone this summer? Puhleeze, tell me it isn’t so.

inactiveMemberTarget, huh? I can probably deal with that. It IS closer, though not exactly the ambiance I was hoping for. But hey. Can’t have it all. ;)
Thanks TR!

swimcatMemberI just tried the vanilla frozen yogurt and strawberry parfait at Costco yesterday- yum!!!! It’s only $1.65 too. My frozen yogurt cravings have been met- I’ll be hitting Costco more often I think!

celeste17ParticipantDoesn’t Baskin and Robbins carry frozen yogurt? I see the machines there. So you might check them out. I know it will be much more expense them Costco.

WSMomParticipantThe gelato at The Riverhouse Restaurant on Harbor Ave (in ActiveSpace) is amazing. As are their crepes (made on a crepe maker imported from France). You really should stop in and try this restaurant.

natinstlParticipantGelato was good at the Alki Urban Market, but for the size cup I got it, I thought it was too expensive

inactiveMemberWSMom,
I’d never heard of The Riverhouse till I saw their sign just this morning across from Active Space. The word “gelato” jumped off the reader board, but it would not have been prudent to slow down there at 7:00 am! I hadn’t figured out where it was located yet, so thanks so much. It’s now on my ever expanding list of WS to-do food.

CMPParticipantI ran by the Riverhouse on Saturday morning and am kicking myself for not driving back later for a gelato and/or crepe treat. It looked really cute so I’ll try to check it out this weekend. As for BR, I get the impression those frozen yogurt machines are not operating. They don’t have FY on their menu and the machines didn’t look like they had been used in a long time. There’s always Dairy Queen in White Center. Not exactly convenient, but always good!
