I had almost the same experience going south at the crosswalk in front of Elliott Bay this afternoon – I was in the left lane and stopped to let a pedestrian cross, a big ol silver SUV or truck of some sort swerved around me to try to pass once she saw my brake lights – I laid on the horn and she slammed on the brakes just before barreling through the crosswalk. I thought for sure she was on her cell phone, but no. Just not paying attention, or just not caring. Grrr!
