For those unaware of the connection, our southern resident killer whales rely on salmon from the Columbia/Snake Rivers systems as well as Puget Sound/Fraser River salmon. Restoring the Chinook runs on the Snake River requires removing some obsolete dams. The link below has more info on a Senate Resolution that would imply people don’t want the dams removed…please ask Senator Nelson to speak out against it. Thanks, on behalf of the killer whales!
