ernieusafretParticipantFirst of all I voted. I vote in all elections, and have since 1960.
Second- on a scale of 1-10, I gave both candidates a 0.0, maybe a 0.1, but that gives me a headache.
Usually you have a lesser of 2 evils, but in this case, it’s a tie.Third- The election is over. Lets move on to running the country.
People are tired of the status quo, with career politicians out for the money, and all the power they can accumulate.
I am for term limits for ALL politicians.Here is why Trump won. Pick your source.They all vary in the numbers, but with the same results.

captainDaveParticipantWhy should anyone care about how name counties Trump won? You might as well tally how many square miles he won or how many owner occupied homes vs rented apartments. It doesn’t matter. The election rules were the rules and Trump won based on that–not some other measure. People really need to get over this crap and accept that the progressive liberal agenda is going to take a back seat for at least the next four years. Otherwise, lefties should get off their butts and try to start their communist revolution.

I think this will be the thing that spurs people on to really pay attention, be they on the left, in the center, or even those on the right who believed what trump said in his campaigning, which basically were just words with no meaning. Everyone of his appointees so far are the same ol’, same ol’ rich folks who were rewarded because of donations (see Ms. Devos). You know…the pay to play, expecting something in return that y’all bitched about when it came to Ms. Clinton. She even said she expected something in return for her support.The trumpsters are starting to pay attention…health insurance taken away, no job creations, the swamp just overflowing it’s banks, broken promises. The really laughable one was “Lock’er’up.” They’re bitchin’ already about how disappointed they are, and he ain’t even sworn in yet. They thought he’d make it better for them…instead, they got Prez Trumputin…lololol…who doesn’t really give a damn about them. I’m still laughing at the guy who posted on a thread on Facebook, laughing at people who lamented losing Obamacare. He said let it go, it was ineffectual, a disaster. He wasn’t worried because he was covered through the ACA, so he had his. Dummy didn’t even know they’re the same, and he’ll have it taken away. Sad all around, really. So don’t be too confident of yourself, Dave.

i think you are about to find out that there was considerable difference between the two candidates.. starting with their choices for cabinet positions.
Trump has chosen candidates who are opposed to the mandates of the organizations they will head.
he has also chosen cabinet candidates who will profit directly from being a cabinet head.i don’t know what part of conflict of interest you fail to get.
then there is the truth factor. Hillary’s truth rating during the campaign.. the highest. She may not have said what you wanted to hear but she told you the truth.
Trump? He can’t even be consistent about his lies.. or should i simply call them boasts because that’s what they amount to…What was most different is that Hillary thought it would matter to voters that she told them the truth… Trump knew it wouldn’t matter that he was caught in bald faced lies… because people didn’t want to hear the truth.
That one truth is the one that keeps me up at night worrying about what will happen in our nation… that people don’t want to hear or see the truth …
anyone who still thinks that the two candidates were equally flawed hasn’t been paying attention to the transition team….

. Except for the 30,000 emails that we found out had been ” Bleached ” with a sophisticated erasing software.
So, in the Liberal-ville public schools. ( 60,000 Total subpoenaed emails )-( 30,000 erased emails ) = ( All of the emails ). Sounds like the Liberal-ville schools have the same Math success as our US Public Schools system does.2) Benghazi – ” The attack was motivated by a Video ” Hillary herself told Chelsea and a few others the night after the attack -via- email that it was an act of Terrorism and had ” nothing to do with a Video ” Oop’s…
3) T.P.P. – Trans Pacific Partnership – Hillary said she Never supported the T.P.P. and that when PRESIDENT Trump pointed out her Lie she accused PRESIDENT Trump of ‘ Living in his own reality. Sound familiar to anyone that has followed ( Jan S. or JoB ) huh ? But, There is Video from multiple sources showing Hillary saying to groups of people in front of the camera’s that the T.P.P. is the ” Gold Standard ”
4 ) Kosovo : ” We landed under Sniper Fire ” Un-Believable Lie. There is actually Video available showing Hitlary being handed flowers and hugs by school girls on the actual runway. Extremely brave 5th graders to be Bravely handing out Flowers under ” Sniper Fire “. this is such a Blatant Lie that I have even seen Democrats laugh at this one.
5) Hillary and the Clinton Crime Cartel deny knowing anything about Scott Foval and the Organized Crime & Violence division of the DNC that paid Democrat Operatives to infiltrate the Peaceful Trump rallies and to purposely cause Violence and instigate fights. The Clinton Crime organization continued to deny/Lie about knowledge of any of this even after Scott Foval admitted on Videotape to the crimes and even after he and Robert Creamer ( Husband of Democratic Congresswoman ) resigned in disgrace.
Even after all of this Blatant evidence on Videotape Hillary continued the Lie and continued to accuse the Trump Deplorables of instigating and committing Violence yet the extensive evidence that the Clinton crime machine had knowledge that the DNC had paid employees that organized , instructed and paid Operatives to actually infiltrate Trump rallies posing as Innocent , law abiding, patriotic Trump supporters to gain entry to the event and then once inside the peaceful event they were paid ( $1,500 ) ea. to commit violence. SICK !
The American people saw through this charade and the Liberal Media lies and realized they could vote for a true American patriot that wasn’t looking to get rich off serving the American people and actually had immense success in the Real world.Welcome to 4 Years of Reality and Common sense. They are doing a “Day of Peace” with songs, discussion, interviews and more all about peace, love, and understanding. Bob Marley is playing as I write this. They are also planning a large sing-along of “Give Peace a Chance” at 9am. If you don’t have radio, you can listen online at kexp.org, or use an app like Tune-In on your smartphone.
Jans, the new Arcade Fire track is awesome! Heard it yesterday on KEXP and was amazed. Thanks for sharing!

I truly believe we are witnessing the end of a century of liberal-proggressive lies, deceit, corruption and graft that has caused so much misery. This is a giant step in the advancement of humanity. It’s too bad that so many here in Seattle don’t recognize the brainwashing they have been subjected to through leftist controlled education and media propaganda. I did not watch, as is MY right… I am afraid that many who supported/support this man are going to be sorely disappointed…time will tell. I, personally, have a bad feeling. But then, I rely on SS and Medicare…so it’s personal. Those things will not affect people who don’t receive those benefits yet. I am watching very carefully, as my life literally depends on those…
change for changes sake…well, change can be a good thing, but..it’s not guaranteed to be good..no one should be complacent now…

It is quite likely that the war of words will quickly escalate into more violence as progressive liberals get angrier about not getting what they believe they deserve from other people.
Since the days of emancipation, there has always been just two kinds of people in America. Those who believe in uniform individual rights, and those who believe its ok to take the fruits of someone else’s labor by force. After the Civil War, the concept of socialism offered a new form of slavery that used a series of complex shell games to obscure the forcible transfer of sweat equity. Just look at how liberals went from wanting to protect US jobs to siding with Wall Street elites to take advantage of slave labor in countries with no human rights. It’s just pathetic to watch people marching for equality in clothing made by some of the most inhumane societies on earth.
Fortunately, we are not a democracy, so progressives don’t have the right to trade away human freedom for free and cheap stuff. The checks and balances of our constitutional republic seemed to have kicked in as socialist greed reached a tipping point under Obama. The efforts of liberals to transform America into a socialist “neo-democracy” can’t really happen–even if a vast majority wanted it. Anti-subversion enforcement will invariably prevent it–just like it has in the past. I am sure liberals will be shocked at how many people would welcome a new era of McCarthyism.
