A couple drops of bleach should take care of it.

Do you reckon the number of hikes taken in bear country is fairly equal to the number of eggs eaten annually in North America?

    GoGo @20 –

Yes, go and perhaps look over your shoulder. ;)

And as long as I’ve popped into the thread –

What of cholesterol, people? Hmmm??? Might be missing the big picture issue here?

    :p

    hehe ;) ;)

I think the hyper-tension caused by constantly worrying about the food and drink you put in your mouth is more detrimental to your health.

Avoid highly processed, factory farmed food, wash your fruit and veggies, eat plenty of delicious whole grains, eat quite a bit more plant material than animal, drink plenty of beer, wine, and liquor in moderation, stay hydrated, and enjoy!

    Mangiare!! Bere!!

    dawsonct: Very nicely said!

odroku: Good point. A much higher percentage of the population is exposed to eggs on a daily basis. A fraction of the population will encounter bears. So the risk of being eaten by bears is significantly lower for the majority of the population than their risk of contracting food poisoning from improperly handled eggs.

Oh, don’t be so hard on yourself odroku. I think if you keep floating those syllogisms you’ll eventually get one that passes muster :-)

Yeah, keep preening, using your SAT words and talking about imported mayonnaise from Holland. I’m sure someone is impressed.

That’s funny odroku….but I don’t remember seeing the word “eventually” on the SATs. But I’ll try to remember to keep things monosyallbic for all of the “professional chefs” in the audience who have never had the pleasure of visiting the Netherlands. ;-)

    GoGo,

We like the Aioli at PCC (near the pickles and hummos). Kind of a mayo alternative, and we spread it on sandwishes, plop some in pasta–tastes pretty yummy.

    Wild Wood Aioli.

I’m gonna try that aoili, it sounds like a good alternative. Thanks, Angelescrest!
