gays4jesusParticipantJohn 14:12-14
King James Version
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
If you accepted Jesus:
John 3:16
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
By believing this asking Jesus to forgive your sins (all have sinned) then John 14 is yours to use as often as you like. Answers to your prayers may come instantly or over time, and finally once Jesus returns and takes you to Heaven, unanswered prayers will be answered.
To help you through the remaining time before he Returns Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit which gives you power to live in this world. Accepting Jesus meaning he comes inside you to live with you and promises you:
1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.December 28, 2023 at 2:43 pm #1081418

For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard.…

gays4jesusParticipantLuke 3:16
King James Version
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
This is not the comforter God gives you when you accept Jesus as your savior. When you get baptized in the Holy Spirit you can speak in tongues.January 8, 2024 at 4:21 pm #1082175
CarDriverParticipantI’ll stick to speaking in English.
