Robert2715ParticipantThere are Gymboree’s in Ballard, Sand Point, Redmond, Issaquah, and Federal Way, but none very convenient to West Seattle. If anyone has the Entrepreneur spirit (and maybe some spare 300K to start up the business…), I bet a Gymboree could do pretty well in West Seattle.
My twin toddlers have been going to the one in Ballard, but the drive is a pain.
(I am not affiliated with Gymboree in any way – I just think this something WS needs)

karenParticipantThere is a great place in Burien called the Jungle Gym. I’m not affiliated but we had our child’s birthday there and I was very pleased.

shihtzuParticipantThe Jungle Gym is great. There are also toddler activities at the community centers.
I agree it would probably do well, I just think they’re overpriced for what they are, so would never consider going.

Robert2715ParticipantThanks for the information about Jungle Gym – we will check it out “even though it is in Burien”… :-)

AReaderParticipantI looked into opening a Gymboree in West Seattle approximately six months ago -but was dismissed by the corporate office because I did not have $300,000 liquidity to invest in the new operation.
Sorry folks! Maybe someone can create a homegrown/organic Gymboree-type atmosphere?

r26MemberIn my opinion – they are expensive and overrated. We go to the mini/open gyms at the community centers, or the wading pools in the Summer.
