HMC RichParticipantFor my undecided and right leaning friends, you have to watch this. This focuses on the Presidential election, not say the Senator Murray campaign. She would not stand for something like this. Senator Murray is an honest person who I respect unlike HRC. Here is the first video link.
When you hear from the mouths of the organizers/consultants how they manipulate people to cause violence at Trump rallies and how they did it to get media attention outside of rallies, it really goes to show you how low the people of the DNC and Clinton campaign will go. Between Wikileaks and Project Veritas there is ample evidence of dishonesty. The Democratic Party will do anything to win an election. This is terrible for our country.
You wonder why Trump is saying the election is being rigged. This video is part of why he says that. And this is just one of them.
I am not accusing this forums participants of this but I am saying there is not a moral platform to vote for Hillary Clinton. But you have no choice. You look past the lies. Not that I am advocating voting for Trump either. These two people are the worst candidates to represent our parties and country.
And of course the socialist progressives will attack James O’Keefe to divert you from the message. But, listen to the message. From the operatives mouths.
Here is a CNN clip from YouTube. Anderson Cooper intros the story. The reporter’s story does have a bit of a left bias but has some necessary clips. but then the roundtable discussion shows some interesting and biased responses from pro HRC people. Of course they go overboard and attack but Van Jones gives a very thoughtful response.

redblackParticipantokay. i understand your dislike and distrust of the clintons. i’ve always thought them a tad smarmy. like republican smarmy. i don’t believe in “third way” politics, or in democrats advancing their political careers with corporate money. it legitimizes republican insanity, in my opinion.
but do you really trust this guy as a source?
quoth CNN:
“In 2010, O’Keefe plead guilty to a misdemeanor for breaking into former Louisiana Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu’s office to tamper with her phone.
In 2013, O’Keefe had to pay $100,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by a former employee of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, better known as ACORN, after O’Keefe and fellow activist Hannah Giles allegedly solicited advice from ACORN workers on setting up a brothel and evading taxes.
The videos led to some employees being fired and contributed to the disbanding of ACORN, which advocated for low- and middle-income families and worked to register voters.
But prosecutors in New York and California found no evidence of wrongdoing by the group, and the California probe found the videos had been heavily edited.”
emphasis is mine.

redblackParticipantsorry. i didn’t mean to let “facts and logic” spoil a good story.
what else you got, rich? other than calling me a socialist, that is…

JTBParticipantDirty tricks. The Democrats are rank poseurs in comparison to the long tradition honed by GOP strategists and pols.
I think we can safely presume that in putting forward O’Keefe’s bit and reactions to it by the esteemed CNN as indicative of anything more than cynical posturing is an indication that Rich’s political awareness is a recent development, disconnected from anything that transpired in the past eight or so years. Otherwise, anything he cites as originating with O’Keefe would have an appropriate emoticon—–;-) :-d or such.

captainDaveParticipantI know that these paid agitators are real. I met one.
A couple months ago, a charter client told me that he was employed as a professional activist organizer at a political services firm. He said he hired and organized people for disrupting political events around the country. He was involved with organizing protesters at some of the Trump rallies including Chicago. Having been in the business for a long time, he told me that he was even involved in hiring “disrupters” for the WTO riots in Seattle some years back.
It is clear to me that our democracy is failing because of a corrupt establishment that’s masquerading as democrats and republicans to run roughshod over us. Otherwise, their would not be a market for these types of political activist firms.
I don’t understand why you liberals believe that the elite conspirators behind this leftist/corporatist coup will change their modus operandi after Hitlary is solidly in power. I am confident that some of you believe the end justifies the means–but do you really think that the “equality for all” end-game is really the final solution planned by the so-called “champions of social and environmental justice”?
If Trump were a democrat running against Jeb Bush, you guys would be drooling all over him for his stance against Wall Street and corporate cronyism.

JanSParticipantat the risk of having certain posters here jump down my throat and make snide comments about snopes: http://www.snopes.com/2016/10/18/project-veritas-election-videos/
I do not trust James O’Keefe to be honest about anything ( just as I have no use for Julian Assange) I would trust neither as far as I can throw them, and I have arthritis and chronic rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders. Of course, no one has to agree with me…others can believe what they want, false or not.

redblackParticipantdave,
what will it take to convince you that i’m as much of a capitalist/consumer as you are, and that i don’t want free stuff from the government? or to work for the government?
October 25, 2016 at 6:57 am #862273
waynsterParticipantAnd I don’t trust psychics to much either …….
October 25, 2016 at 7:43 am #862280
miwsParticipantYeah, be careful with that, Jan. Just a day or two ago I was thinking about posting a Snopes link on another thread, the “Nasty Woman” one, I believe, and then remembered back a few months ago when I was put in my place for linking Snopes.

JoBParticipantheaven forbid we should link to sites that actually source their material :(
i don’t buy into the current race to the bottom double speak when it comes to campaign corruption…
after all.. although corruption buys influence and advertising.. it doesn’t buy votes..
any more than the current tendency towards defamation as an argument builds a case.If you want to prove something you need actual verifiable evidence with links to originating sources so those sources can be evaluated.
as long as snopes provides that.. they are a valid source.
whether you agree with their analysis after reading their supporting documentation is up to you.
but killing the messenger doesn’t kill the message.October 25, 2016 at 8:12 am #862286
waynsterParticipantOh heaven forbid snopes for fact checking misw and Jan…. remember if it didn’t come from fox news and Sean Hannity it’s not true….

JTBParticipantcaptainDave, I think it’s more likely you met a bs artist who derived satisfaction from feeding you something you were eager to eat up.
