MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Her family confirms she’s been found.

ORIGINAL SUNDAY NIGHT REPORT: We just heard from a family member that 13-year-old Lyla is missing in West Seattle:

She was last seen Friday (January 12th), around 7:30 pm, at 24th/Holden. Lyla is 5’1″ and 90 pounds. You can report sightings to her family at 206-733-0543, or call 911 and refer to SPD case number 24-011618.

If you are talking about the Ring footage posted earlier on Saturday, then yes that child is much, much younger and is definitely not Lyla. I am sure her family appreciates any and all help from the community.Hope she is found safely. Love to her family.

I’m so sorry to hear that Lyla is missing! My daughter is friends with her at school. She said this is very unlike Lyla and is also very worried. Is there a reason why this isn’t an Amber alert?? Praying for a safe return!!!!

Ms, certain requirements for it to be an Amber Alert. My DIL just told me she was found. Do not know if she came hm on her own? Just glad she is home. :)

Shes been found. This is her Mother. She was found in Renton. at an place by the transit center where homeless people go.

Im so happy to know she was found safe. I knew her awhile ago, we were friends, but i dont know if she remebers me. But if you dont mind me asking, how many days was she missing?
