Does the Farmer’s Market management realize that a large proportion of its customers are senior citizens?  Not only have local transit options that senior customers rely on been severely curtailed, but there is no ‘senior line’, or priority/consideration of any kind at the market.  I went through hell to get to the market today (first time out in four months) but could not physically wait in the long, long line.  I thought I’d heard that there was a separate line for seniors, but I was ordered to go to the end of the line by the ‘ambassador’.  I would much rather spend my money at the market and at local businesses, but it has become almost impossible to do so.  I ended up having to go back home with nothing to show but a lot of pain, and money in my pockets that will have to go to Amazon instead.  Not my choice by a long shot.

The wait varies depending on what time you show up. I’ve had it where I was only waiting in line 15-20 minutes and it moved pretty fast. There were plenty of seniors that had no problem with waiting.

Seniors should get priority.  Plenty of seniors have problems with waiting because they’re in fact, seniors.

Thank you, Mo.  It shouldn’t need saying, but apparently, it does.  There is very little respect for or accommodation of seniors in Seattle.

Sorry, comment time is over.
