Playing with a high-wind warning in effect for the area, Seattle Lutheran scored a win at West Seattle Stadium on Saturday afternoon, beating Manson High School – visiting from Lake Chelan – 42-35.
Four Lutheran touchdowns were scored by Abijah Smith, with one by Grant Doerr late in the game.
After a long period of lead-trading, the Saints’ defense stopped a Manson drive at the 5-yard line with less than two minutes to go, and that sealed the win.
