5:36 PM: Receiving lots of calls/texts about a helicopter over White Center/Highland Park. Witnesses say it’s Channel 7 TV, which subsequently said via Twitter they were checking out an “unconfirmed” report of a possible drug bust in the area.
5:43 PM UPDATE: We checked with King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Cindi West, who says she’s working to get more information about a search warrant in WC.
Send in the now famous SPD West Seattle Bishon Freise (freeze!) doggie duo to sniff them out.
Heh, yeah! Kibble and jerky treats are cheaper than helicopter fuel! ;-)

WSB; can you make reality of Mike (iws) T-shirt idea? I REALLY want a “helicopter over WSeatte” one, AND a “saw a coyote …_ …._…_, ” (fill in the rest with all the funny sayings people posted whenever there was a coyote running down their street!) T-shirt. Someone design them with color, not just a non-descript boring T-shirt? In time to sell at the WSeattle street fair and the parade? Good idea Mike!!!
KD, we did T-shirts already. Approximately four people bought them. Waste of resources and money. Luckily we didn’t order too many, but there are still half a dozen sitting in our closet. Everybody SAYS they want T-shirts but in reality, I have heard from countless organizations, they go unbought. We’re a news organization, not a merchandising company. If we ever decide to do tchotchkes, we’ll do something useful. But thanks! – TR
