From Seal Sitters: ‘Tiny’ the pup didn’t make it after all

An update from the Seal Sitters’ “Blubberblog” – West Seattle’s first seal pup of the year, whom they nicknamed “Tiny” because it was a very small newborn, has died. But there probably wasn’t anything anyone could have done – seems an adult female seal found dead on a West Seattle beach this week was likely Tiny’s mom. Full story here.

Why wasn’t it taken to a shelter? Comon now I thought there was people here who cared more for those seal pups than they care for humans, and THEY JUST LET IT DIE! lordy! What is going on with you pup sitters? Too busy with your own little happy lives nowdays, forgot to care for the critter? You had to make a Costco run? Don’t tell me you couldn’t make a correct decision when it too much time passed before its mummy seal was supposed to come along and feed it.

Jiggers – it wasn’t on the same beach the whole time. It disappeared, which tends to mean that Mom came and got it. Then it reappeared on another beach. (Also noted on Blubberblog). Then it disappeared again. Wasn’t just sitting on one beach dying – TR

Jiggers, please don’t be so sarcastic and disrespectful of people who are trying to do the right thing. And it’s “there were people” not “there was.”

Sorry, comment time is over.
