Thanks to Monica for sharing the news that the Chief Sealth International High School Jazz Band 1 scored a big win at a regional festival this past weekend – returning from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, with the first-place trophy from the Northwest Jazz Band Festival. Senior Eric Wolken also won an Outstanding Music Award for his work on lead trumpet.
