Happening now: “Adoption Option” cats and dogs at Pet Elements

(Photos by Christopher Boffoli)
Got room in your home and heart for somebody new? Cats and dogs looking for “forever homes” are at Pet Elements until 3 pm, with Furry Faces Foundation (whose Teri Ensley is holding Frosty Mogul, one of their candidates, above) and Animals First Foundation, which brought dogs including 2-year-old Mauser:

His people just gave him up for adoption yesterday, because of family health problems. If you want to go see who’s still in search of that aforementioned “forever home,” Pet Elements is at 6701 California.

That poor pup he looks so sad and humiliated. I hope they both get adopted soon. Gotta love the ‘thumbs’ on that cat – beautiful!

Actually, that dog was one cool little guy. I know the picture makes him look a bit sad but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. He was so good natured and friendly. I’m a diehard cat person but I have to admit that Mauser totally won me over. He was so affectionate to everyone who walked up and his tail was wagging constantly. Even when some bigger dogs came into the shop and barked or made a fuss, I never heard a peep out of Mauser. He was pretty centered and well-adjusted. I’d guess that the family he came from showed him a lot of love.

Sorry, comment time is over.
