West Seattle scenes: You just can’t have too many eagle photos

    We saw two of these magnificent creatures in Lincoln Park today. They were trilling quite a bit also.

    Sorry, but BFD!!! Aafter living in Alaska for a period of time, Eagles have lost thier luster. It happens when you see hundreds of them picking apart baby diapers in a landfill. Same with Grizzley Bears, although I would be impressed with one in West Seattle.

      yes, I know, we had a family member in the fishing industry at one point and they would tell the tale of “our majestic national symbol” doing something grubby like that. Managed not to see that sight during three vacations in Alaska, though, so we’re still impressed, fwiw! – TR
